New to AI Automation: Where to Start?

Hey WebNutch community, I'm excited to share my journey of learning AI automation from scratch. As a recent high school graduate, I'm eager to dive into the world of automation workflows and agents. With no prior coding experience, I'm looking for guidance on where to begin. I've heard great things about n8n and its no-code approach, but I'm also considering learning Python. If you were in my shoes, would you recommend starting with n8n or diving straight into Python? What's a good first project to tackle? I'm looking for a realistic goal to achieve within my first 30 days of learning. I have a laptop and plenty of time to dedication. I'd love to hear from experienced members of the WebNutch community on how to create a roadmap for my learning journey. What resources, tools, and projects would you recommend? Let's get the conversation started and help me get started on my AI automation journey. You can also check out the WebNutch marketplace for resources and inspiration to help you get started.

Can you elaborate on how you've used Python to customize n8n? I'm interested in learning more about how to extend its functionality.

I've been using n8n for a few months now and I have to say, it's been a fantastic tool for automating workflows. One thing I wish I had done sooner was explore the community resources and forums - there's a wealth of knowledge and experience shared by other users.

I started with Python and it's been a game changer. I'd recommend learning the basics of Python first, then exploring n8n. It'll give you a solid foundation to work with.

I'm curious, what kind of projects are you interested in building with AI automation? Are you looking to automate tasks at work or create something for personal use?

Great post! 😊 I'm also new to AI automation and I've been exploring n8n. I think it's a fantastic tool for beginners, especially with its no-code approach.

I agree with the previous comment about starting with Python. I've been using n8n for a while now and while it's great, having a programming background has helped me customize and extend its functionality.

For a first project, I'd recommend automating a simple task like sending emails or updating a spreadsheet. It's a great way to get familiar with the workflow and see the impact of automation firsthand.
